Pischei Simchas Yom Tov
A short sefer. It contains R. Schoonmaker's commentary on the Rambam's Mishne Torah where the Rambam discusses simchas Yom Tov generally, and the simchas Beis haShoeiva specifically. There is also a popular, long essay on different languages of joy and a shorter essay on the importance of simcha in mitzvos (in Hebrew).
